This is a Atlas Filtri RO Prefilter Kit that consists of three filter cartridges for the Oasis DP Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, which works for both the standard and pump models.
The kit includes:
Stage 1: 5 Micron Sediment Filter
PP Melt Blown Polyspun Sediment Filter
- The filter will remove sediment, rust and fine particles. Itis designed to protect the remainder of the system from particles
- Life-span: 3-6 months. Max temperature: 45°C (113°F).
Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon Purifier
CTO, Chlorine, Taste and Odour Reduction
- This is a cartridge containing granular activated carbon to reduce chlorine (bad tastes, odours), herbicides, pesticides and traces of heavy metals.
- Life-span: 3-6 months.
- Max temperature: 45°C (113°F).
Stage 3: 5 Micron Carbon Block Filter/Purifier
Chlorine, Taste, Odour and Sediment Reduction
- This is an activated carbon block filter/purifier which will filter sediment, rust and fine particles. It will also reduce chlorine (bad tastes, odours), herbicides, pesticides and traces of heavy metals.
- Life-span: 3-6 months.
- Max temperature: 45°C (113°F).
You should change these filters every 3 to 6 months. The exact time depends on incoming water quality and pressure. If you notice the water flow slowing down or if it's been 6 months, it's time to change the filters.
